Dear Members, Friends and Supporters of Palgrave United Church
We are having a FUNdraiser! As you all are aware our church is a very “Green” organization, and this fundraiser will help support our ecological principles. Our goal is to collect as many gently used household items, small appliances, clothing, linens and decor etc. We will be paid by Value Village for the bags and boxes of items that we can collect. So, not only will this “clean out” your own closets and basements, but if our goal is met, it will keep over 3000 pounds out of the landfill!
Please spread the news to all your family, friends, neighbours and acquaintances!
We will have drop-offs at the church from 10:30 to 11:00, and 12:00 -12:30 each Sunday, starting in April until May 22nd, and evening drop-offs on April 26th from 6:00 -8:00p.m and May 17th 6:00 -8:00p.m. If you cannot drop off the bags to the church, one of us will be glad to come and pick them up!
Please separate the soft items such as clothing, coats, linens and curtains etc in bags and the household items such as toys, dishes, appliances and decor and books in boxes, as the weight of these items is reimbursed differently. If you require boxes or bags please us know.
